Kevin Durant just donated $3 million to his alma mater

Kevin Durant is not an $88 player -- he's a $3 million one. On Thursday, the University of Texas announced that Durant, a former Longhorn who now stars at forward with the Golden State Warriors, had donated $3 million to the university to fund repairs to its basketball facilities. The sum is the largest gift by any Texas basketball alum, the school said, as well as "among the largest gifts ever by any professional athlete to his alma mater."
